Wednesday – Marcel Lucont
On Wednesday the 12th of July head to the Tipi for our Festival of Comedy show. The show will run for 3 hours and feature a mix of the best comics on the UK comedy circuit. So either grab a hay bale and settle in for the evening or dip in to see your favourite act before heading off to experience more of Woodlands. The headline act is French comedy genius, Marcel Lucent. He has starred on The John Bishop Show Christmas Special, Live at the Electric and Russell Howards Good News. He has toured the world and won numerous awards, including the 2012 Amused Moose Award for the Best Comedy Show of the Edinburgh Fringe and the 2013 Fringe World Award for Best Comedy at the Perth Comedy Festival.

Thursday – Kids Comedy & Paul Sinha
On Thursday 13th July at 6pm it’s Mini Comedy in the Family Zone. So bring the little ones down for a show that will feature comedy, music, magic and competitions. The show is aimed at children between 3 and 12 years old, but can be enjoyed by all who like silly giggles! The show will feature top kids comedy magician EL Baldiniho. As seen on CBBC, ITV and BBC1, he is the daftest magician you will ever see. Watch him mess up his tricks, forget his lines and be a big silly sausage!
Thursday night will also host the All Star Show at 8pm on the Craft Beer Stage. An incredible line up of comics is headlined by Paul Sinha! Paul is a critically acclaimed stand up comedian and professional quizzer! He is best known for his starring role in ITV1’s The Chase, where he regularly chases down opponents in his guise as ‘The Sinnerman’. He is also a sensational stand up, he was nominated for a Perrier Award at the 2006 Edinburgh Festival and won Chortle’s Best Club Comic in 2014! He has appeared doing stand up on Tonight at the Palladium (ITV1) and is a regular on the Radio 4 favourites News Quiz, Just a Minute, and The Now Show and has registered several victories on Radio 5’s feisty weekly sports panel show Just a Minute.

Sunday – Rob Deering
Finally after an epic weekend of racing keep laughing rather than face the exit traffic! On Sunday evening at 8pm we have Victory Lap Comedy which will feature musical comedy, so you can chuckle while you sing along. Closing the show is Rob Deering, The UK’s foremost guitar-wielding, loop-layering stand-up comedian. Along with being one of the most in-demand headliners on the UK circuit, he has toured nationally and performed solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe to critical acclaim. He has hosted The Comedy Club (BBC Radio 4), appeared on Comedy Rocks with Jason Manford (ITV), Pointless Celebrities (BBC One) and won Celebrity Mastermind (BBC One) and the comedian’s edition of The Weakest Link.
