Empyre is a British rock band with influences ranging from the sound of Seattle in the 90s, and dirty blues rock to more atmospheric and acoustic music. Their foundations are based on rock vocals and striking guitar riffs, but that’s not to say that Empyre only play rock n’ roll.

2016 saw the arrival of a new backline in the form of Drummer Jack Bowles and Bassist Dan Grannum leading to the re-launch of the band.

To date Empyre have released two EPs, the imaginatively titled EP1 and the aforementioned ‘Something Remains’. The third EP is written and early indications are that Empyre is still questioning existence, nevertheless with gig dates mounting up and a third EP on the way 2017 looks bright.

“10/10” is how Midlands Rocks rates Empyre’s latest EP ‘Something Remains’. Rock and Roll simply describe it as “Brilliant”.
