Alistair Griffin, the Yorkshireman from a village near Whitby is developing a growing reputation as songwriter for the nation’s big moments.

He first came to prominence on BBC show Fame Academy and after a top 20 album and a top 10 hit re-emerged with a new album 'Albion Sky' shortly after his song ‘Just Drive’ entered the Top 40 after the BBC used it to close their coverage of an exciting F1 season. The song became F1 theme tune on Sky Sports F1.

Since then his songs have been used to montage all the great British sporting events including Wimbledon, the Olympics, FA Cup Final & British Open golf to name a few.

He tours regularly throughout the UK, his live shows gaining a reputation for their raw acoustic quality and pure vocals. A new album is on its way in the summer.
