Directions

Silverstone is a rural location, we suggest planning your trip in advance. Please also check the Silverstone Circuit website for directions as we are just next door.

By Car - Follow all directional signage to Silverstone Circuit. As you get closer to the circuit, please follow all directional signage relevant to the campsite. We will email you closer to the event telling you what which signs to look out for.

By Train - The closest train stations are Milton Keynes Central and Northampton. Regular bus services run from these train stations to the circuit over the F1 and MotoGP weekends. Taxi’s also serve both stations and can drop you at the campsite gate.

By Bus - There will be buses running from nearby train stations and from destinations further afield. You will have to take a short walk from the Circuit to the Campsite.

By Taxi - Taxi’s are available at all local train stations (Milton Keynes Central, Northampton, Wolverton and Banbury). The taxi drop off point is at Gate C. Follow all event signage to the campsite when approaching the Silverstone Circuit.

Site opening times

The Entry Gates are open at the following times:

Thursday: 08:00 until 23:00

Friday: 08:00 until 23:00

Saturday: 08:00 until 23:00

Saturday: 08:00 until 23:00

*Your weekend camping ticket entitles you to camp with us from Thursday to Monday. Dates are subject to change.

All campers must leave site by midday Monday.

Arrival

All camping tickets are sold through Kaboodle. We advise printing off the e-tickets attached to your confirmation email from Kaboodle. Each ticket has a unique QR code that needs to be scanned at the gate. Upon arrival, your camping tickets will be exchanged for wristbands. Please keep your wristband intact for the duration of the event. If you lose it or it comes off you will be refused re-entry to the campsite and will be charged for a new one at face value. We do not accept card payments at the campsite entrance. To help speed up the arrival process, please be sure to have any cash you may need to pay with at the gates with you on arrival.

Pitch sizes

Tents without electric

We do not specify a pitch size for tent camping, we just ask that you take only the space you need. As a guideline, pitches are usually the length of your car by approximately 6 metres. Additional pitches are available for larger groups at the discretion of the campsite stewards.

ALL Electric Hook-up Pitches (sizes are approximate)

Standard pitch = 7 x 8 metres

Large pitch = 6 x 12 metres

Can I resell my ticket if I can't make it?

We are working with Tixel who provide a safe and easy place for you to sell your ticket to another fan.

If you have a ticket to sell, please go to https://tixel.com/uk/tickets/silverstone-woodlands and follow the prompts.

To avoid fraudulent resellers, please do not buy second hand Woodlands Camping tickets from anywhere other than Tixel, our official resale platform. This ensures tickets are sold at face value and are verified to ensure a safe transaction. Tixel will take care of transferring your tickets for you automatically through Eventbrite.

If you have already found a buyer for your ticket but want to complete the transaction safely, you can create a private sale by selecting the ‘Make my listing private’ option in the final step.

Silverstone Woodlands Campsite can accept no liability for tickets purchased through Tixel and resold tickets are non-refundable.

Do I need a Live-In Vehicle Pitch pass?

This is an additional ticket that is required if you're bringing any form of Live-In Vehicle onto the campsite, even if you aren't planning on sleeping in it. It entitles you to a pitch (see sizes above) in the Live-In Vehicle area. A Live-In Vehicle is anything that is converted in anyway for living or sleeping. This includes, but is not limited to dayvans, trailer tents, caravans, converted vans and motorhomes.

If you arrive to the campsite in a Live-In Vehicle without the correct ticket, you may be refused access to the site. To check if you need a Live-In Vehicle pass, please send photos of the interior of the vehicle to tickets@silverstonewoodlands.co.uk.

If we have SOLD OUT of Live-In Vehicle Pitch passes, then this means we only have tent camping available and you would not be able to bring your Live-In Vehicle. You would need to arrive at the campsite in a car.

Caravan Hire with Tilshead Caravans

We work with Tilshead Caravans to provide luxurious caravans that will be pitched and fully functioning ready for your arrival. All you need to do is book your camping tickets and live-in vehicle pitch then book the caravan, we sort the rest! Be quick, these sell out super fast. You can find out more about Tilshead here.

Any caravan or hired vehicle from other companies must be driven into the site by a valid ticket holder. We can cannot accept delivery of caravans or vehicles from any other third party.

General housekeeping

• The Disabled facilities area are strictly for Blue Badge holders only.
• The campsite roads must be kept clear at all times. Any vehicles blocking roads will be removed.
• No generators are allowed on-site.
• Silverstone Woodlands is a NO GLASS campsite! Please decant all liquids into plastic containers before arrival.
• Please only take up the space you need.
• Do not camp under the powerlines
• Beware! DO NOT carry tall flag poles whilst walking in the proximity of the power lines!
